| Marinade for Smoker Chicken |

Yield: Enough sauce for 4 chickens
- 2 cups (1 pound butter or margarine, melted
- Juice of 3 lemons
- ½ teaspoon each of thyme, basil, chili powder, oregano, dry mustard, salt and cloves
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon tarragon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Combine all above ingredients. Marinate chicken in sauce 24 hours. Baste chicken with marinade before smoking and at the end of cooking.
