A simple recipe for last-minute fixing.
- 4 whole chicken breasts
- Juice of 1 lemon
- ¼ cup butter or margarine
- Salt
- Seasoned pepper
- 6 slices of onion
Rinse chicken breast and pat dry. Place chicken in a shallow baking dish or pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice and place a pat of butter on top of each breast. Sprinkle with salt and seasoned pepper, then top with sliced onions. Place chicken breast on smoker grid and smoke.
Charcoal: Use 5 pounds charcoal, 3 quarts hot water, 1 – 2 wood sticks and smoke 1 ½ - 2 hours.
Electric: Use 3 quarts hot water, 1 – 2 wood sticks and smoke 1 ½ - 2 hours.
