Veal Cheese Loaf
Yield: 4 – 6 servings

You’ll be amazed at how delicious and tasty this loaf is. It has a completely different flavor than beef meat loaf.

  • 1 ½ pounds ground veal
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese cut in ¼ inch cubes
  • ¾ cup bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup canned evaporated milk
  • 1/3 cup pickle relish
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
Mix meat with other ingredients and shape into a loaf. Place loaf on a double thickness of heavy-duty foil, just large enough for loaf. Place foil with loaf on smoker grid and water-smoke.

Charcoal: Use 5 pounds charcoal, 3 quarts hot water, 1 wood stick and smoke 1- 2 hours.

Electric: Use 3 quarts hot water, 1 wood stick and smoke 1- 2 hours.
